HyundaiAutoEverAmerica is seeking a seasoned Cyber Security Defense Head of Department to oversee the organization0s security strategy and operations. You will lead SOC, incident response, threat management, and adversary simulations, while guiding AppSec and crisis management across global teams.

This executive role requires hands-on leadership, the ability to communicate risk to executives, and a passion for building high-performing security teams in a fast-moving automotive IT environment.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of progressive cyber defense leadership and governance.
• Bachelors degree in Cybersecurity, IT, CS, or related field.
• Strong knowledge of MITRE ATTCK, detection, and incident response.
• Ability to communicate risk to executives and lead across teams.

Responsibilities

• Oversee 24x7 SOC operations and incident response readiness.
• Lead Red Team, Pen Testing, and adversary simulation programs.
• Own TVM strategy including vulnerability management and remediation.
• Drive secure SDLC practices in AppSec.
• Coordinate crisis management with legal, comms, and executives.
• Mentor and develop high-performing security teams.
