Job summary

Cognia is seeking an SVP of Curriculum to lead the strategy and execution of HQIM and aligned non-summative assessments. This role shapes an integrated curriculum-assessment ecosystem, initially focused on ELA and expanding to math, science, and beyond.

The SVP will lead curriculum design, instructional quality, and product innovation, partnering with the Largescale Assessment, Measurement, and Lab teams. The position demands staying current with education regulations and market trends while

Qualifications

• 5+ years of senior management experience leading K-12 curriculum and related services.
• Direct leadership of development/publishing of high-quality instructional materials in the K-12 space.
• Deep knowledge of current curriculum and assessment trends and practices.

Responsibilities

• Set strategy and oversee the Curriculum Department within the Curriculum & Assessment Services Division.
• Lead development and lifecycle management of curriculum and non-summative assessments across content areas.
• Ensure coherence across curriculum, instruction, assessment, and professional learning.
• Drive product innovation, partnerships, and revenue growth.
• Leverage AI and emerging technologies to strengthen curriculum and assessment offerings.
• Partner with Largescale Assessment, Measurement, and The Lab on aligned solutions and R&D.
• Represent Cognia as a thought leader at industry forums and with policymakers.
• Stay current on education regulations, trends, and competitive landscape.
