Job summary

Fermi Inc in Dallas seeks a seasoned Head of Corporate Communications to steer brand, external messaging, and investor relations for Project Matador. You will lead strategy, media relations, and executive communications across a high-visibility energy and AI infrastructure program.

You will mentor a growing team, partner with Legal, IR, Operations, and HR, and uphold rigorous disclosure standards while shaping the public narrative around national security, technology, and energy developments.

Qualifications

• 12+ years of progressive experience in corporate communications, public affairs, media relations, or reputation management.
• Significant experience advising senior executives in a public company, highly regulated business, major infrastructure organization, or other high-visibility environment.
• Demonstrated success leading media strategy, issues management, and crisis communications.
• Exceptional writing and editing skills, including translating technical subjects for broad audiences.

Responsibilities

• Own enterprise communications strategy, message architecture, and corporate narrative.
• Translate complex energy, nuclear, infrastructure, and AI developments into clear communications.
• Ensure consistent messaging across corporate, investor, employee, and recruiting channels.
• Identify reputational opportunities/risks and advise leadership on responses.
• Serve as central point of contact for media inquiries and build media relationships.
• Prepare press materials and runbooks; monitor coverage and provide timely intelligence.
• Lead issues-management and crisis communication, coordinating with executives and functions.
• Develop executive speeches, talking points, and interview materials.
• Build employee communications programs and measure internal impact.
• Oversee brand and editorial standards across channels; manage external agencies.
