Title: Chief Commercial Officer - Badger Technologies

Location: Based Remote US

Badger Technologies, a leader in autonomous retail robotics and AI-driven solutions, is transforming industries with cutting-edge automation and analytics. Our solutions enhance operational efficiency, safety, and customer engagement for retailers and businesses worldwide.

We are seeking a Chief Commercial Officer to lead new business development and channel expansion initiatives, driving accelerated revenue growth . This high-impact role is responsible for identifying new market opportunities, establishing strategic partnerships, and executing a scalable go-to-market strategy. Additionally, this role will manage and mentor a small team of Business Development Specialists, ensuring they achieve sales targets and contribute to the company’s overall success.

What can you expect to do?

  • New Business Development: Identify and pursue high-value opportunities with retailers, technology partners, and enterprise clients to expand Badger Technologies' market presence.

  • Channel Expansion: Develop and grow new channel partnerships that drive increased adoption of our solutions.

  • Revenue Growth Acceleration: Build and execute strategies that drive rapid revenue expansion through direct sales, partnerships, and innovative market approaches.

  • Team Leadership & Management: Lead, mentor, and develop a team of Business Development Specialists, setting clear goals and ensuring alignment with revenue objectives.

  • Customer & Market Insights: Stay ahead of industry trends, customer needs, and competitive dynamics to position Badger Technologies as a market leader.

  • Executive-Level Engagement: Develop strong relationships with key stakeholders, including C-level executives, to drive long-term partnerships and enterprise deals.

  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with sales, marketing, product, and engineering teams to align business development initiatives with company objectives.

What is the experience needed to be successful in this role?

  • Bachelor’s degree required in business, marketing, engineering, or a related field.
  • 15+ years of experience in business development or direct sales within the technology sector, specifically in retail or related industries. Proven track record in driving growth through technology solutions, including robotics, automation, AI, or other innovative retail technologies.
  • Proven track record of driving new business growth and building strategic channel partnerships that result in accelerated revenue.
  • Experience leading, coaching, and managing business development teams to achieve and exceed sales targets.
  • Proven experience in developing retail and related markets, with a strong understanding of retail store operations, merchandising, and distribution center best practices. Familiarity with retail data, analytics, syndicated information, planogram (POG)/pricing systems, and an OEM background is a plus.
