Job summary

Bowhead is seeking a Chief Cloud Architect & Lead Infrastructure SME to join our team in Arlington, VA, providing expert knowledge of AWS GovCloud and secure cloud infrastructure for the NAUT contract.

You will design, implement, and manage complex cloud solutions, lead DevSecOps pipelines, IaC, CI/CD with GitLab, and collaborate with cybersecurity teams to meet DoD security standards and FedRAMP/FISMA requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field.
• Six+ years DoD/Federal IT architecture and/or infrastructure support.
• Five+ years AWS GovCloud architecture & infrastructure support.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and manage complex cloud-based solutions within DoD environments.
• Lead DevSecOps pipelines and CI/CD using GitLab.
• Develop secure, scalable cloud architectures using AWS GovCloud and other platforms.
• Automate cloud provisioning and management with IaC.
• Ensure cloud solutions comply with DoD security protocols, FedRAMP, and FISMA.
