Job summary

Behavioral Health seeks a Chief Clinical Officer to lead the clinical and medical mission, ensuring quality, safety, and effectiveness across ABA services, nursing, psychiatry, and therapy. Reporting to the CEO and serving on the executive team, the CCO sets standards, oversees contracted providers, and guides clinical governance.

This role emphasizes risk mitigation, stakeholder communication, and regulatory alignment, aiming for excellence consistent with BHA’s values and performance

Qualifications

• Doctoral degree and relevant licenses required.
• Missouri license active before hire; Kansas licensure preferred.
• Minimum 10 years clinical experience with IDD/autism; at least 5 years in director-level leadership.
• Experience leading interdisciplinary clinical services and coordinating across programs.
• Proven track record with regulatory surveys, payer audits, and quality reviews.
• Experience in IDD residential/waiver or psychiatric settings.
