Job summary

A.T. Still University (ATSU) ASDOH seeks an Associate Dean for Clinical Affairs to lead clinical operations, education integration, and regulatory compliance across the dental school clinics.

This role guides patient care quality, faculty development, and strategic technology adoption. The Associate Dean will oversee credentialing, risk management, and affiliation with CODA standards while advancing a culture of safety, ethics, and excellence in clinical training for predoctoral and postgraduate

Qualifications

• DMD or DDS degree from an accredited dental school.
• Active Arizona Dental License or eligibility to acquire within 120 days of hire.
• Greater than 9 years of clinical/academic experience in dental education.
• Demonstrated knowledge of CODA standards and clinical education in academic settings.
• Experience with curriculum management and competency-based assessment.
• Strong leadership, organizational and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide executive leadership for clinical operations across all dental school clinics.
• Oversee clinical education integration with didactic and laboratory curricula.
• Ensure regulatory compliance with HIPAA, OSHA, and CODA standards.
• Drive patient care quality and access while maintaining financial sustainability.
• Lead recruitment, credentialing, onboarding, and performance evaluation of clinical faculty and staff.
• Manage budgets, billing systems, and equipment procurement for clinics.
