Arizona Public Media seeks a talented and highly experienced Chief Broadcast Engineer. Thispositionreports to the senior leadership team. The successful candidate is responsible for daily Television and Radio broadcast operations. They will lead and manage AZPM’s broadcast and physical infrastructure. Position maximizes the quality, reliability, and robustness of AZPM’s infrastructure in support of its public service mission. This position coordinates AZPM’s content delivery and physical infrastructure necessary to best leverage techniques to build programming, donor, and listener interactions. The ideal candidate will have expert knowledge of microwave transmission systems, digital television, radio transmitters, and HD radio broadcasting. Must be able to accommodate shift changes, including extended hours, weekends, evenings, and 24 / 7 on-call response to technical issues.
