Trilon in Richmond, VA is expanding and seeks a Chief Bridge/Structures Engineer, P.E. This role involves leading complex DOT bridge and infrastructure projects, requiring a Bachelor’s in Civil or Structural Engineering along with extensive engineering experience.

Responsibilities include managing bridge design, technical reviews, and guiding junior engineers. A competitive salary range of $185,000 - $210,000 per year is offered, alongside a $20,000 sign-on bonus and a robust benefits package.

Qualifications

• Registration as a licensed Professional Engineer and/or Structural Engineer is required.
• 20+ years in relevant bridge design and plans production.
• Ability to guide junior staff in multi-discipline projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead complex DOT bridge and infrastructure projects.
• Serve as Structures Project Manager and Design Lead.
• Perform technical reviews of all engineering documentation.

Skills

Complex structures design

15+ years post registration structural engineering experience

Familiarity with AASHTO LRFD Bridge Design Specifications

Proficiency in Microstation, GEOPAK, AutoCAD

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Education

Bachelor of Science in Civil or Structural Engineering

Masters in Civil/Structural Engineering (preferred)
