Job summary

Trilon is seeking a Chief Bridge/Structures Engineer in Greenville, SC to lead complex DOT bridge and infrastructure projects. This role requires deep experience in bridge design and rehabilitation, with responsibilities including managing engineering alternatives and training junior engineers.

The position offers an attractive compensation package of $185,000 - $210,000 annually, and includes a $20,000 sign-on bonus. Candidates should have at least 15 years of structural engineering experience and proficiency in relevant design software.

Qualifications

• Registration as a licensed Professional Engineer and/or Structural Engineer is required.
• Experience with bridge design and plans production for various bridge types.
• Ability to guide junior staff and participate in design and detailing.

Responsibilities

• Lead complex DOT bridge and infrastructure projects.
• Serve as Structures Project Manager or Design Lead.
• Conduct technical reviews of engineering drawings and specifications.

Skills

15+ years post registration structural engineering experience

Proficiency in MicroStation, GEOPAK

Excellent verbal, written, interpersonal, and time‑management skills

Education

Bachelor of Science from an ABET‑accredited university in Civil or Structural Engineering

Masters (MSE/MSCE) in Civil/Structural Engineering
