Job summary

Kodama Systems, Inc. is seeking a hands-on Chief Technology Officer to lead our software and hardware teams and own the technical roadmap. You will define the direction for autonomy and safety systems, grow a strong engineering organization, and shape what Kodama builds in production environments.

You will guide the transition from teleoperation to higher autonomy, mentor engineers, and collaborate with investors and OEM partners to advance our robotics stack and platform capabilities.

Qualifications

• Deep experience leading autonomous robotics or mobile robotics teams.
• Proven ability to mentor senior and staff engineers.
• Clear technical vision with strong communication to execs and partners.

Responsibilities

• Own Kodama's technical strategy and engineering roadmap.
• Lead and mentor a multidisciplinary team of five software engineers and two hardware engineers.
• Drive development and deployment of autonomous capabilities on heavy equipment in production.
• Lead safety-critical systems as autonomy expands.
• Represent Kodama’s technology with investors, OEM partners, and other external stakeholders.
