Job summary

Syneos Health is seeking an Executive Director of Early Medical Development in the United States. The role oversees medical leadership and governance for clinical studies, coordinating across Clinical, Commercial and Consulting divisions to deliver safe and effective drug programs.

You will provide input on protocol design, training, and regulatory submissions, while managing staff and ensuring high-quality scientific communications with clients.

Qualifications

• Maintains in-depth knowledge of FDA and worldwide drug development regulations.

Responsibilities

• Operates as a subject matter expert in one or more indications.
• Leads medical oversight of assigned clinical studies and acts as primary medical contact for customers.
• Leads interdivisional activities in support of corporate objectives and business development opportunities.
• Provides medical input into protocol design, amendments, and data collection tools.
• Develops and delivers therapeutic training to project teams and site staff.
• Represents the company at scientific and industry meetings and supports RFP/RFI responses.
