Job summary

Arcus is seeking a Chief Architect and Technical Authority for AI Infrastructure in Texas. You will set the technical direction, oversee architectural decisions, and balance trade-offs across data centers and software that runs there.

Initially an IC, with potential to lead a team as the company grows. You will evaluate datacenter power and cooling, design scalable GPU infrastructure, and guide large-scale infrastructure programs while protecting engineering teams from burnout in a fast-moving

Qualifications

• Can design datacenters, consider datacenter power and cooling requirements (current and forward-thinking future state requirements)
• Can then look at Software Architecture and how that software runs on the Datacenter
• Can then design solutions for customers who have real problems to be solved immediately
• Has experience scaling GPU's from 100's to 1000's to 10,000's etc.
• Has the ability to understand and get the best out of workforce abilities/ workloads without burning out engineering teams
• Brings experience running large-scale Infrastructure programmes

Chief Architect, Technical Authority, AI InfrastructureArcus have secured a retained mandate for a Neocloud in Texas who have recently put $XXbn into their infrastructure programmes.The role is for a Chief Architect to join as the principal Technical Authority in the business for decisions around technical design, escalations and trade-offs. The organization have several key objectives all underpinned by a need for a strong technical roadmap.

They are looking for someone who:
