Job summary

Soni is seeking a Head of AI Governance to lead the enterprise AI governance framework, embedding policies, standards, and controls across AI solutions, including ML models, generative AI, copilots, and RAG systems. You will partner with Risk, Legal, Compliance, Security, and Tech teams to enable responsible AI at scale.

This role emphasizes translating strategy into sustainable operational practices that support innovation, regulatory compliance, and risk management, with senior leadership

Qualifications

• 12+ years of experience in data analytics, AI governance, or technology governance and risk management.
• Experience designing and operationalizing enterprise governance programs, standards, and operating models.
• Ability to navigate complex stakeholder environments across business, legal, compliance, and risk functions.
• Strong communication, facilitation, and relationship management skills to drive outcomes through influence.

Responsibilities

• Lead enterprise AI governance initiatives across analytical, generative AI, and autonomous agent use cases.
• Implement governance policies, standards, and control frameworks aligned with risk tolerance and regulatory obligations.
• Embed governance controls into platforms, workflows, and delivery processes for transparency and auditability.
• Collaborate with risk, legal, compliance, privacy, security and business teams to ensure adherence to policies and external requirements.
• Define governance performance metrics, tracking adoption, compliance, and remediation outcomes.
• Provide direction and mentorship to governance teams and engage senior leaders for accountability.
