Job summary

BlueSteps Connect is seeking a Head of AI Engineering to shape the technical direction of a unified, AI-native data platform across multiple entities. You will architect and deliver centralized AI-enabled data capabilities, guiding the evolution of data products as the business scales.

You will lead hands-on development with Python, SQL, and TypeScript, build scalable data pipelines and APIs, and sponsor AI-driven quality improvements.

Qualifications

• 10+ years building production-grade systems at scale.
• Background as Staff/Principal Engineer or technical leader in high-growth environments.
• Strong hands-on coding in Python, SQL, and TypeScript.

Responsibilities

• Architect and deliver a centralized AI-native data platform.
• Build and scale high-performance data pipelines, APIs, and data services.
• Deploy AI and automation to improve data quality, enrichment, and verification.
• Contribute to due diligence on acquisitions and post-acquisition integration plans.
• Present architecture and strategy to senior leadership and investors.
