Job summary

Globant is seeking a dynamic, hands‑on AI Architect to lead end‑to‑end AI projects for consumer products and retail clients. You will design scalable AI/ML architectures, prototype and deploy models, and collaborate with clients to translate business needs into technical roadmaps.

The role demands senior hands‑on expertise in AI/ML frameworks, cloud services, and a consultative mindset to drive adoption and scale across complex environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, or related field.
• 7+ years of software engineering experience, with at least 3 years in AI/ML solution architecture.
• Hands‑on experience with modern AI/ML frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch, Hugging Face, LangChain).
• Deep knowledge of LLMs, generative AI, NLP, computer vision, and MLOps.
• Strong programming skills in Python; experience with Java/Scala/R is a plus.
• Experience with cloud AI/ML services (AWS SageMaker, Azure ML, GCP Vertex AI).
• Demonstrated ability to scope, estimate, and deliver complex AI projects.
• Excellent consultative and communication skills; able to engage with technical and business stakeholders.
• Experience leading and mentoring technical teams.
• Fluency in English; Spanish or Portuguese a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design robust, scalable AI/ML architectures tailored to client needs using the latest LLMs and MLOps practices.
• Select models, frameworks, and cloud platforms for each use case (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Lead hands‑on implementation, data engineering, model training, evaluation, and integration with enterprise systems.
• Engage with clients to understand business challenges and translate them into technical solutions.
• Advise clients on AI strategy, roadmap and best practices for adoption and scaling.
• Scope and estimate AI projects, develop delivery plans, and manage execution.
