Job summary

The Charleston Symphony is seeking a Chief Advancement Officer to partner with the CEO on fundraising strategy and donor engagement in Charleston, SC. This senior leader will guide the advancement team, manage major donor relationships, and drive campaigns that support the CSO’s artistic and educational mission.

Qualifications

• Experience leading advancement teams and fundraising programs.
• Proven track record in major gifts, annual giving, and endowment campaigns.
• Strong collaboration with boards, volunteers, and senior leadership.

• Build a multi-year fundraising strategy aligned with CSO goals.
• Personally manage a portfolio of major donor relationships and transformational gifts.
