Sonoma State University seeks a Vice President for University Advancement to provide vision and leadership for philanthropy, alumni engagement, advancement operations, and strategic communications. Reporting to the President, the VP will guide the division and collaborate with campus leaders to advance the university’s mission and fundraising goals.

A Bachelor’s degree in a related field and ten years of advancement experience, including at least five years in leadership, are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent education/experience.
• Ten years in the advancement field with a track record of responsible professional experience.
• At least five years leading and/or supervising others.

Responsabilités

• Provide vision, inspiration, planning, and management for University Advancement.
• Lead philanthropy, alumni engagement, advancement operations, marketing and strategic communications.
• Coordinate with campus leadership, faculty, staff, students, alumni and community partners to advance priorities.
