Job summary
The USC Glorya Kaufman School of Dance invites applications for the position of Assistant Dean of Advancement and Chief Development Officer. Reporting to the Dean, this role oversees all activities related to advancement, major gifts, foundation relations, planned giving and donor stewardship, with a focus on aligning fundraising priorities with the school’s strategic vision and goals.
This is a senior development leadership role requiring travel nationwide and internationally, with schedule
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree required.
- Minimum five years in advancement, development, fundraising, or related leadership roles.
- Demonstrated success securing major gifts and managing complex donor relationships.
- Experience developing and implementing strategic fundraising plans.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a comprehensive advancement strategy aligned with the School's plan.
- Lead fundraising initiatives including major gifts and donor engagement.
- Oversee foundation relations, proposals, reporting, and stewardship.
- Provide leadership and supervision to Kaufman advancement staff and cross-campus collaborators.
