Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Finance, or related field.
- MAAA and FSA (or career ASA) designations.
- At least 10 years in actuarial field, with 5 years in leadership roles.
- Proficiency in actuarial software and strong analytical abilities.
Responsibilities
- Lead strategic direction of all actuarial functions in line with corporate goals.
- Manage modeling and pricing for new annuity and life products and reinsurance.
- Oversee policy liabilities (Stat & GAAP) and reserve adequacy.
- Run financial projections for product lines and develop regular analyses.
- Govern assumptions and document changes; manage governance processes.
- Coordinate with external actuaries and manage vendor engagements.
- Interact with regulators, NAIC, and rating agencies on filings.
