Job summary

Thomas Jefferson University is recruiting a Vice Provost for Academic Support Services to lead strategic oversight of university-wide academic support functions, including student success services, libraries, registrar, and curriculum support. Qualifications

• Master’s Degree required in a relevant discipline.
• 10 years progressive leadership experience in higher education academic affairs or student success.
• 5 years overseeing multiple, complex academic support functions.
• 5 years understanding accreditation, academic policies, and higher education operations.
• Strong strategic thinking and execution.
• Proven organizational leadership and change management.

Responsibilities

• Provides vision and leadership for academic support services aligned with institutional priorities; drives cross-functional integration across academic success, libraries, registrar, curriculum infrastructure, and academic partnerships.
• Leads academic success and retention strategies including advising, tutoring, and Academic Success Center programming with data-informed approaches.
• Oversees university libraries, instructional design, and academic technologies; advances innovation in digital learning and teaching resources.
• Oversees registrar functions, academic records, policies and catalog management, and student business services while ensuring compliance.
• Partners with Deans to support program development, lifecycle management, and curriculum innovation; oversees external academic partnerships.
