The Provost serves as the chief academic officer, upholding academic integrity and ensuring policy compliance across Academic Affairs with the UL System and the Board of Regents.

Responsibilities include overseeing academic programs, student services, accreditation reviews, budgeting, and strategic planning, while supporting teaching excellence and faculty development.

Qualifications

• Terminal degree from an accredited university required.
• Substantial higher education senior administrative experience (5+ years) as a dean or equivalent; preferred experience as Provost or Vice President.
• Collegial, collaborative, and diplomatic; strong communication skills.

Responsabilités

• Serve as the Chief Academic Officer, overseeing academic programs and student support services.
• Oversee academic units and Office of Academic Affairs, core policies, and accreditation reviews.
• Lead strategic planning for academic affairs and coordinate budgeting with UL System, Board of Regents, and Legislature.
