Job summary

US Army Corps of Engineers, Southwestern Division’s Middle East District, seeks a Chief of A‑E Contract Management in Winchester, VA. As a DHA direct‑hire eligible senior leader, you will oversee A‑E contract actions, policy implementation, and performance across project life cycles.

You will supervise staff, manage design coordination, schedules, budgets, and provide leadership on complex military construction and infrastructure initiatives.

Qualifications

• One year of specialized experience managing A‑E contract products across all phases of the contract process.
• Experience leading an A‑E Contract Management team and coordinating resources.
• Experience with contract databases, budgeting, and post‑award contract changes.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage A‑E contract actions including scope development and fee negotiation.
• Provide supervisory leadership and mentorship to assigned staff, oversee performance and hiring actions.
• Coordinate design efforts, track schedules, funding, and project status for military construction and infrastructure projects.
