POSITION OBJECTIVE:
The Sales Lead supports management in promoting a customer- and product-focused sales culture, emphasizing our values and guiding principles in all store operations. FUNCTIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Drive for Results
- Establish clear expectations and hold the store team accountable for achieving brand, performance, and behavior standards.
- Oversee operational activities such as opening, closing, and merchandise flow processes.
- Supervise associates involved in sales, inventory receipt, cash reconciliation, and customer services, ensuring proper staffing and adherence to promotions and standards.
- Maintain standards in merchandise handling, presentation, loss prevention, and other duties as directed.
- Develop a high-performance culture, motivate the sales team to meet sales and productivity goals, and achieve personal sales targets.
- Train and coach team members on product knowledge and sales techniques.

- Motivate and inspire the store team, promoting shared vision and core values.
- Foster an inclusive, collaborative environment for problem-solving.
- Communicate effectively with the team and management to lead positive change.

- Utilize sales techniques and product knowledge to serve customers, recommend merchandise, and assist with locating products.

- Address customer concerns promptly.
- Ensure efficient register operations, staying current on policies and procedures.
- Maintain ongoing communication with customers via programs and sign-ups.

- Support and follow up on training programs and seminars.
- Assist in developing store associates, interpret KPI reports, and provide coaching and feedback for performance appraisals.
- Drive engagement by recognizing outstanding performance.
- Ensure adherence to employment policies and practices.

QUALIFICATIONS:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 1+ year retail or sales management experience preferred
- Must be 18 or older
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Strong customer service skills
- Ability to learn and adapt to company technology
- Knowledge of store operations and administration
- Strong organizational skills and multi-tasking ability in a fast-paced environment
- Effective communication with customers
- Regular attendance and flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Constant walking/standing (67-100% of shift)
- Occasional lifting up to 50 lbs. (1-33% of shift)
- Frequent climbing
