Responsibilities
- Ensure our guests receive polite, friendly service from all chicken kitchen staff.
- Personally demonstrate superior guest service at all times.
- Achieve sales, shrink, and profit goals for the chicken kitchen.
- Maintain desired inventory and supplies.
- Operate the department according to merchandising and operational standards.
- Ensure product quality meets Lowes Foods standards.
- Maintain sanitation and safety standards.
- Provide guidance, training, and feedback to staff.
- Perform product preparation, receiving, ordering, stocking, and guest service as necessary.
- Maintain labor budget and scheduling standards.
- Perform all other duties as assigned by management.
- Perform PA announcements.
Qualifications
- Friendly, outgoing personality.
- Ability to actively engage guests and have fun with them.
- Ability to work well with others.
- Ability to lift 25 lbs. consistently and 50 lbs. occasionally.
- Ability to read and understand information and directions.
- Knowledge of deli and chicken kitchen operations.
- Ability to supervise, train, and develop staff.
- Willingness to learn multiple tasks and technical requirements.
- Effective communication, guest service, and selling skills.
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Ability to bend, kneel, and stand for extended periods.
- Ability to work well with computers.
