Position Overview

Food preparation and cook positions are responsible for executing recipes and procedures consistently to ensure excellent food quality and a great guest experience. Responsibilities include maintaining a sanitary work area, setting up stations, proper storage and labeling of products, accommodating allergies or special requests, and interacting positively in a fast-paced environment. Cross-training may be implemented to enhance staffing flexibility, team development, and restaurant efficiency.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Inside Expo: Read and communicate tickets accurately; inform about allergens and special requests; organize trays and work area.
  2. Salad or Make Station: Prepare recipes as specified; ensure product quality and temperature; handle special requests.
  3. Fry Stations: Cook chicken or fries; monitor fryer temperatures and oil quality; filter and replace oil safely; prepare additional items like pickles and mac and cheese.
  4. Grill Station: Butter and grill buns; season and grill chicken; ensure quality standards.
  5. Sauce Prep: Prepare, portion, label, and store sauces properly; may include making milkshakes.
  6. Chicken Breader: Prepare brine, batter, and breading; trim and brine chicken; bread and cook chicken following food safety procedures.
Qualifications
  • Previous experience in a busy kitchen preferred but not required.
  • Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
  • Strong interpersonal skills; energetic and friendly demeanor towards guests and team members.
  • Ability to read recipes and work efficiently in a high-energy environment.
