Job summary

Chick-fil-A Chesterfield Plaza is seeking delivery drivers who are friendly, enthusiastic and customer-focused. You will handle deliveries, manage the delivery app, and ensure orders are accurate and presented well.

Benefits include health insurance, flexible schedules, and Sundays off. You will use provided vehicles or your own with gas covered, and you keep 100% of tips. The role requires a high school diploma, English communication, and a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English.
• Must be at least 19 years old.
• Must demonstrate flexibility in schedule and be able to work Saturdays.
• Have the ability to lift and carry 10-60 pounds.
• Valid State-issued driver’s license, reliable transportation, and proof of insurance.
• Clean driving record for the past 3 years.
• Reliable communication via smartphone to download delivery app.
• Cannot have a current/within the last year license suspension.
• Drive safely and obey traffic rules.
• Work as a team member when there are no deliveries.

Responsibilities

• Greeting customers when entering and leaving the premises.
• Following safe driving procedures.
• Managing transactions using Delivery App.
• Managing cash.
• Serving guests via delivery.
• Keeping your delivery vehicle clean and organized.
• Bagging and wrapping purchased goods for safe transport.
• Read, understand and comply with the Team Member Handbook.
• Deliver portions that are correct and meet weight and presentation expectations.
• Protect the customer experience by ensuring packaging, food presentation and quality are top level.
• Show up on time with a great attitude and work hard for your entire shift.
• Ensure appearance complies with Handbook.
• Be a team player.
• Display care and personal responsibility to the success of your role in the business.

This is not a contract position, you will be a member of the Chick-fil-A Chesterfield Plaza team and will be expected to uphold our high standards of presentation, service, and care.

The ideal candidate must be able to execute Chick-fil-A hospitality with our guests in a caring way. Clear and excellent communication skills via our delivery app are paramount to help meet our guest's expectations outside of the restaurant.
