What You’ll Do

The Assistant General Manager supports the General Manager in ensuring smooth daily operations. This role offers an opportunity for entry-level managers to develop key management skills, exercise judgment, and practice discretion.

Role Priorities And Responsibilities
  • Deliver performance feedback, set goals, foster teamwork, and communicate business objectives confidently.
  • Supervise non-management staff, assign work, focus on operational performance, and coach shift supervisors.
  • Perform duties in the absence of the general manager.
  • Motivate staff, especially during low morale periods.
  • Exhibit strong leadership and organizational skills.
  • Address issues promptly.
  • Ensure adherence to policies, procedures, and brand standards.
  • Maintain a clean, inviting environment that meets brand standards.
  • Manage cash accurately, ensure daily processing, and deliver reports as required.
  • Address customer needs and resolve issues to foster positive relationships.
  • Perform inventory checks and spot counts.
Skills, Experience, And Educational Requirements
  • Passion for helping others learn and grow the business.
  • Strong leadership and management skills to motivate teams.
  • Excellent customer service and positive attitude.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills with sharp business acumen.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in quick service or similar management roles.
  • Flexible work schedule.
  • Basic food safety knowledge.
  • Ability and willingness to lift/push objects over 30 lbs.
