Job summary

Rapid Medical is seeking a delivery/courier contractor to support labs, clinics, and health systems with efficient stop-by-stop service in the Chicago area. You will use our driver app to manage routes, capture proof of delivery, and ensure proper handling of specimens according to temperature requirements.

Preferred candidates have delivery or rideshare experience, own a suitable vehicle, and can lift up to 25 lbs.

Qualifications

• Own or access to a personal vehicle (year 2016+).
• Valid driver’s license, active insurance, and satisfactory driving record (MVR).
• Able to lift up to 25 lbs and operate a smartphone with data.

Responsibilities

• Use driver app to manage stops, scheduling, and support.
• Photograph pickups/deliveries and log proof of delivery in the app.
• Handle specimens with proper temperature control as required.
• Notify dispatch immediately if any damage or issues are observed.

Rate: $80

Weekly bonus opportunity: $20-$100

Sign-On Bonus:$150

Contractors located within 15 miles of the start point, end point, or anywhere along the route are well-suited for this position.

Pay

• All-inclusive rate per route — mileage, drive time, and expenses are already factored in (no separate per-mile pay).
• Weekly bonus: $20–$100
• Training bonus: paid after 30 days with no call-offs
• Sign-on bonus: $150 after 30 days active with no call-offs
• Paid via bi-weekly direct deposit or same-day cash-out (fees may apply)

What Makes Someone Successful Here

Reliable and on time. Detail-oriented. Communicates quickly when something comes up. Comfortable adjusting on the fly. Delivery, rideshare, or courier experience is a plus but not required.

What the Route Looks Like

• Run your stops using our driver app — navigation, scheduling, and real-time support built in
• Photograph pickups/deliveries and log proof of delivery through the app
• Handle specimens carefully and keep proper temperature (room, refrigerated, or frozen as required)
• Contact dispatch right away if anything looks damaged, improperly packaged, or off
