The Chicago Program Lead is a part-time, after-school role running Monday-Thursday from September through December, with a commitment of 9-12 hours per week and scheduling flexibility. This position offers competitive pay starting at $22/hour. Program Leads play a vital role in delivering high-quality academic, mentorship, and lacrosse programming to students in under-resourced communities on Chicago’s West Side.
Program Leads are assigned to a partner school in the Austin neighborhood and work with students across multiple grade levels, including 3rd-4th grade, 5th-6th grade, and high school boys' and girls' programs.
Each afternoon begins with academic tutoring and mentorship, followed by team-building activities and introductory lacrosse instruction. This structure allows students to grow both academically and athletically while developing leadership, confidence, and teamwork skills.
