Job description

Assisting Hands Home Care is seeking hourly/live-in Home Health Aides for IMMEDIATE daytime, evening, overnight, and weekend shifts in Monmouth and Ocean Counties for experienced CHHAs to provide in-home care. We need experienced, dependable, and compassionate caregivers for immediate placement.

Requirements:

• Must love helping people, have a great attitude, and a caring nature with a current NJ CHHA certification.

Responsibilities:

• Provide personal care services to clients in their homes.
• Assist with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
• Assist with mobility and transfers, using proper body mechanics and equipment.
• Prepare meals and assist with feeding, ensuring dietary restrictions are followed.
• Provide companionship and emotional support to clients.
• Assist with light housekeeping tasks, such as tidying up and laundry.
• Observe and report any changes in the client’s mental, physical, or emotional condition or home situation to the Director Of Nursing.

Skills:

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively interact with clients, families, and healthcare professionals.
• Ability to follow instructions and work independently with minimal supervision.
• Excellent organizational skills to manage schedules and prioritize tasks.
• Attention to detail to ensure accurate documentation of client care.
