Pay Range and Benefits

This range is provided by Homewatch CareGivers of South Orange. Your actual pay will be based on your skills and experience — talk with your recruiter to learn more.

Base pay range: $16.00/hr - $17.00/hr

Responsibilities:

• Build meaningful relationships with your client
• Provide companionship in a warm, welcoming, encouraging tone
• Assist with ADLs (bathing, toileting, dressing), meal prep, light housekeeping, laundry, and linen changes
• Ensure safety and supervision of your client
• For Drivers: Be willing to drive and accompany clients to appointments and errands

Candidate Requirements:

• Must have an ACTIVE New Jersey HHA Certification
• Must be fully vaccinated (and boosted if eligible) against COVID-19
• Two forms of ID: Driver's License, Social Security card, etc.
• Step 1 PPD (within 12 months), QuantiFERON (within 12 months), or Chest X-ray
• Pass a criminal background check
• For Drivers: Valid driver's license, reliable vehicle, proof of registration & auto insurance
• Reliable, compassionate, flexible, team player
• 1+ year of prior caregiver experience preferred but not required
