Job summary

BAYADA Home Health Care is hiring Home Health Aides (HHA/CHHA) to provide compassionate, one-on-one care in clients' homes under the direction of a registered nurse. Flexible scheduling and training opportunities are available to qualified candidates.

Expect responsibilities including bathing, dressing, meal prep, medication reminders, light housekeeping, and mobility assistance while supporting clients to maintain independence at home.

Qualifications

• Compassionate, patient, dependable, and respectful demeanour.
• Able to travel to clients' homes as assigned.
• Training may be available for qualified candidates.

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate one-on-one care based on a written plan of care under RN direction.
• Bathing, grooming, and toileting.
• Dressing and personal hygiene.
• Meal preparation and feeding.
• Medication reminders.
• Light housekeeping and laundry.
• Bed making and other household tasks.
• Assistance with ambulation and transfers.
• Range-of-motion exercises.
• Vital sign checks.

Previous home health care or patient care experience is welcome, but not always required. Training may be available for qualified candidates.

For Experienced CHHAs

Candidates applying for HHA/CHHA positions should have:

• A current CHHA/HHA credential in good standing with the New Jersey Board of Nursing
• Previous caregiving or home health experience, when required for the position
