General Excavating is seeking a motivated Pipelayer to install and repair water, sanitary, and storm pipelines under supervision. The role requires attention to safety, the ability to work in physically demanding environments, and strong communication with the crew leader.
Responsibilities include laying pipe per blueprints, aligning with grades, and using lasers or transits for elevations. Minimum 1 year underground utility experience preferred; OSHA 10/30 preferred; valid DL and drug test

General Excavating is searching for a highly motivated Pipelayer. This position will be responsible for installing and repairing water, sanitary, and storm pipelines under the supervision of their Foreman or Superintendent. This role requires attention to detail, a commitment to safety procedures, and the ability to work in physically demanding environments.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Education and Work Experience
Language Skills
Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
Mathematical Skills
Ability to add, subtract multiply and divide. Ability to perform these operations using units of American money and weight measurement, volume and distance. Ability to read a tape measure and convert inches into tenths.
Reasoning Ability
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving multiple variables in standardized situations.
