Qualifications

SNF/Long Term Care experience preferred.
Current knowledge of occupational therapy treatment practices and adaptive equipment.
Knowledge of Net Health Electronic Documentation System preferred.
Ability to manage patients with different types of personalities and diagnoses.
Current License as an Occupational Therapist in Wyoming in good standing.

Responsibilities

Evaluate, plan, and administer treatment to residents and patients with temporary or long-term disabilities to improve independence in daily living skills, restore function, and promote safety.
Ensure all treatment is delivered in accordance with an established plan of care.
Provide clinical support and instruct patients, families, and caregivers on therapeutic activities and adaptive equipment to maximize functional independence.
Measure and record patients’ functional abilities, range of motion, strength, and progress toward goals.
Monitor patient responses to treatment and modify interventions as necessary.
Complete documentation in accordance with company policy and state/federal regulations.
