Job summary

AdventHealth in Tampa is seeking a skilled RN to abstract clinical data for Chest Pain Center registries and support multidisciplinary teams. You will coordinate quarterly meetings, educate Nursing Services and other departments on best practices, and assist in program development with Marketing and CME coordination.

The role requires strong critical care nursing skills, cardiovascular knowledge, and excellent communication.

Qualifications

• RN with critical care, ER or cath lab experience is required.
• Basic cardiovascular rhythm recognition and monitoring competency required.
• Medication management for acute-care cardiovascular patients.
• Advanced knowledge of data entry and Chest Pain Center criteria.

Responsibilities

• Abstract clinical data for AHA-GWTG and SCPC registries.
• Coordinate quarterly Chest Pain team meetings and follow up on action items.
• Provide education to Nursing Services and ancillary departments on Chest Pain Center standards.
• Collaborate with Marketing and CME to develop community education programs.
• Maintain clinical competencies and provide direct patient care as directed.
