Far West Federal in Fort Belvoir, VA is seeking an Acquisition Support Specialist to assist the CHESS / Digital Market program. The role supports the Army leadership, prepares acquisition documentation for awards and post-award management, handles inquiries, SoNA, and software license requests, and assists Product Officers on hardware, software, and services vehicles.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree preferred; comparable experience may be substituted.
2–4 years of acquisition or acquisition support experience, plus 6–8 years in an administrative, communication, or customer service environment.
Experience with Armed Services components and government acquisition policy, including J&A rules, policies, and procedures.
Extensive MS Office skills and ability to learn government tools (RFx, LTS, ETMS2, SharePoint, IT e-Mart / Digital Marketplace).
Ability to translate technical requirements into acquisition milestones and present to leadership.

Responsibilities

Resolve customer inquiries for Digital Market / CHESS contracts, products, and services; log and track routine issues and elevate complex items.
Research policies and mandates applicable to acquisitions, including J&A rules and FAR/DFARS guidance at working level.
Provide acquisition support for software COTS contracts, including license request processing, LTS support, and enterprise software agreement administration.
Process and track SoNA requests; assist with RFx capability, IT e-Mart, Digital Marketplace, and DoD portals.
Compile and analyze contract-action and inquiry data; deliver weekly summaries and monthly status reports; review vendor reports and submit updates.
Draft routine acquisition support products for SME/Government review; support Product Officers on various DoD vehicles; complete special projects without dropping coverage.
