Job summary

The Nature Conservancy is seeking a part-time Chesapeake Bay Project & Contracts Specialist to support contracts, procurement, and cross-functional operations from a home office within the continental US.

You will help manage invoices, draft contracts, and track deliverables across the Chesapeake Bay agriculture strategy while coordinating with Grants, Legal, and project teams in a dynamic grant-funded environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 2 years related experience.
• Experience coordinating administrative processes.
• Experience generating reports and interpreting data.
• Experience in business writing, editing, and proofreading.
• Experience organizing time and managing diverse activities to meet deadlines.
• Experience working across teams and communicating with a wide range of people.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate projects with several variables, within defined timeline and budget.
• Ensure compliance with policies and donor/IRS requirements.
• Financial tasks: purchasing, processing invoices, contracting with vendors, budgeting support.
• Provide input to improve program effectiveness through project teams.
• Communicate with staff, vendors and partners to support operations.
