Job summary

Staffmark in Perris, CA is hiring a Cherry Picker Operator for 1st shift (4:00 AM - 12:30 PM). The role pays $20.00 per hour and offers overtime as needed. You will safely operate cherry picker and forklift equipment, load/unload trailers, scan, palletize, and maintain inventory accuracy in a fast-paced warehouse environment.

Qualifications

• 1 year of recent cherry picker experience.
• Proficient in forklift operation; willing to obtain certification.
• Ability to lift heavy boxes.
• Follow instructions accurately.
• Consistent and accurate task performance.
• Basic reading, writing, math and computer skills.
• Attention to detail and effective communication.
• Minimum one year of warehouse or manufacturing experience.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Competent in the safe operation of hand and power equipment.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate forklifts and pallet riders.
• Follow Maintenance and Safety Procedures.
• Promote a safe work environment.
• Load, unload trailers, scan, build pallets, and label merchandise.
• Replenish and stock merchandise.
• Enter data manually or via computer systems.
• Conduct product counts and reconciliations.
• Ensure accurate product placement.
• Direct products to correct warehouse areas.
• Maintain cleanliness by clearing debris and sweeping.
• Report equipment malfunctions and safety hazards promptly.
