Job summary

Petco in California is seeking Equipment Operators to support our distribution operations. You will pull, pack, and move merchandise, operate powered equipment, and help keep inventory accurate and accessible.

This role requires the ability to lift up to 50 pounds, pass required certifications for powered equipment, and work a 1st shift schedule. Competitive hourly pay ranges from $15.45 to $25.45 with benefits including health, dental, and 401(k).

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Basic math proficiency.
• Ability to repetitively lift and/or move merchandise up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to pass required certification to operate powered material handling equipment.
• Forklift certification or ability to be certified.

Responsibilities

• Repetitively places and pulls merchandise weighing up to 50 pounds to and from storage locations using RF device or pick modules.
• Receives, picks, packages, loads and moves merchandise for shipment using pallets or boxes.
• Replenishes inventory stock.
• Performs inventory activities and compares to records.
• Unloads incoming shipments and loads outgoing trucks with merchandise.
• Arranges merchandise to be staged or stocked to maintain inventory levels.
• Packages merchandise with correct labels for orders.
