Job summary

Bob's Discount Furniture is hiring a Shipping Equipment Operator to pick products from distribution center locations using a cherry picker lift and RF scanners. The role requires safe operation at heights up to 40 ft, accurate loading, and teamwork to meet daily targets.

Starting pay ranges from $20.00 to $22.00 per hour based on experience, with benefits including insurance, PTO, 401(k) with company match, and growth opportunities. Schedule is Monday–Friday with some Saturdays as needed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience operating forklift and/or cherry picker equipment.
• Comfortable working at heights up to 40 ft.
• Ability to work flexible hours including weekends.
• Proactive communication and following detailed instructions.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate forklift and/or cherry picker equipment.
• Use RF scanners to locate and identify product.
• Load and stage product from storage racks onto the cherry picker lift.
• Move product from lift to loading area accurately.
• Collaborate with team to meet daily goals.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
