Position Overview

Operator, Machine - OP/CP

2nd Shift - 2:30PM-11:00PM, Monday - Friday

A Machine Operator III will be responsible for moving and storing materials within the distribution center using an Order (Cherry) Picker.

Responsibilities

• Lift, stack, and/or pull products off shelves, replenish products from various heights and weights.
• Count and verify product orders, document damages and shortages.
• Maintain inventory levels and fulfill orders accurately and timely.
• Transport materials safely within the warehouse, stacking or shelving according to storage plans.
• Follow safety protocols, including PPE use and equipment inspections.
• Assist with warehouse tasks like picking, packing, inventory counts, and shipment prep.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of warehouse organization experience.
• Good hand-eye coordination, ability to work fast-paced.
• Teamwork skills.
• Attention to detail, organizational skills, prioritization.
• Ability to lift/move heavy items.
• Flexible schedule, including weekends.

Education and Experience

• At least 1 year of PIT experience operating a Cherry Picker in a warehouse.
• Experience with warehouse scan guns.
• Problem-solving skills.
• Ability to read orders and document accurately.
• Safety-conscious mindset; WMS experience preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Physical Requirements

• Standing, walking, bending, squatting most of the time.
• Repetitive pushing and pulling motions.
• Carrying up to 25 lbs frequently.
• Lifting up to 50 lbs unassisted.
