Job summary

ResourceMFG is seeking a Forklift Operator for a Union City, GA distribution facility. Two shifts available with pay between $18.75 and $19.75 per hour; Saturday work required for both shifts.

Responsibilities include loading, unloading, stacking, and counting product using forklift, clamp trucks, or related equipment; checking in/outbound goods; maintaining safe, clean, and organized work areas; and ensuring compliance with OSHA and MSDS standards.

Qualifications

• Must be able to operate powered material handling equipment safely.
• Ability to check inbound/outbound products for accuracy and damage.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and comply with OSHA standards.

Responsibilities

• Load/unload and move products with forklift/clamp truck as 80% of shift.
• Prepare product for shipment; verify counts and types match orders.
• Keep records for inventory accuracy and report variances.
• Perform daily equipment inspections and routine maintenance.

A distribution facility in Union City, GA is looking for Forklift Operators!!

2 Shifts available:

• 1st – $18.75 – 6a – 2:30p Mon – Sat – Sat is mandatory


• 2nd – $19.75 – 2:30 – 11pm Mon – Sat – Sat is mandatory

Job Description:

• Responsible for operating powered equipment for the purpose of moving, locating, relocating, stacking, and counting product.


• Responsible for checking all inbound and outbound products.


• Ensures products are free of damage and infestation, product code dates are properly recorded and products match customer requirements.

Primary Duties:

• Load, unload, move, stock, and stage products and materials using a forklift, clamp truck, or other power equipment 80% of specified shift.


• Pull and prepare product for shipment ensuring the exact number and types of product is loaded.


• Keep appropriate records and reports for inventory accuracy.


• Comply with all OSHA and MSDS standards.


• Verify load accuracy; check the load count, stability, and product damage, Report variances as necessary.


• Changes equipment battery or LP tank and monitors power source as necessary.


• Maintain the facility’s equipment and materials in a neat, clean, and orderly fashion.


• Assist in physical inventories.


• Complete daily inspection of equipment.


• Perform additional duties as assigned by management or customer.
