Job summary

Xylem is seeking a motivated entry-level lab assistant in the United States to support life science projects in clean rooms and labs. You will prepare and test materials, help document results, assist with safety procedures, and collaborate with a team to deliver high-quality solutions.

The role rewards teamwork and a willingness to learn, requiring a high school diploma or equivalent (an Associate’s in science is a big plus) and roughly one year of related experience or coursework.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent (Associate's in science is a big plus).
  • At least 1 year of lab, academic, or science experience—or class/labwork in Chemistry, Environmental Science, or Biology.
  • Love for teamwork, organization, and making a difference.
  • Willingness to learn and grow—no advanced degree required.
  • Familiarity with basic lab equipment & computers is helpful, but training is provided.

Work Schedule:

  • Monday-Thursday: 6:00am-3:30pm
  • Friday: 6:00am-10:00am (start your weekend early-a candidate favorite!)
