Job Description
This position is a 1.0 FTE located at Washington-Liberty High School.
Responsibilities
- Implement instructional programs that meet the needs, interests, and abilities of students using appropriate instructional materials.
- Maintain a safe and orderly environment.
- Communicate with parents/guardians.
- Maintain complete and accurate student records.
- Collaborate with school administrators, teachers, instructional assistants, parents, and community members.
- Monitor and assess student achievement.
- Attend ongoing professional learning and meetings.
Experience
- Teaching experience in the relevant area.
- Knowledge of best instructional practices.
- Ability to integrate technology.
- Experience in educational and instructional leadership.
- Dual endorsement preferred.
- Bilingual skills preferred.
Qualifications
- Must have or be eligible for Virginia licensure.
- Chemistry certification.
- Dual endorsement in English as a Second Language and/or Special Education is preferred but not required.
