Mercor is seeking candidates with an undergraduate degree in STEM to help one of the world's top AI labs improve their models’ scientific reasoning and aptitude by taking part in a two-week in-person wet-lab trial. This opportunity pays up to $21/hour.

You are a good fit if you:

• Have at least two years of undergraduate experience and/or hold an undergraduate degree from a US university or research institute in a STEM domain (excluding Biology).
• Are not currently enrolled in a STEM Graduate Degree Program.
• Have high attention to detail.
• Meet one of the following criteria:
• I) No previous wet-lab experience
• II) Experience in a chemistry lab, but not in a biology lab.
• Possess exceptional written and verbal communication skills.

Additional details about the role:

• You will work directly with prominent AI researchers at a top five lab in Boston, Massachusetts in a live wet-lab setting. Your work will contribute to improving their models.
• You need to be available to work 12 weeks part-time from early June to early September.
• You should be based in Boston, MA during the trial. We cannot cover accommodation costs, but may cover reasonable transportation.

Pay and legal status:

• You will be classified as a contractor for the AI lab.

Screening process:
