Job summary

The Indiana Biosciences Research Institute (IBRI) invites motivated undergraduates and graduates in Indiana to apply for a Summer Internship Program running May 17, 2027 – August 6, 2027. The Opportunity:

Schedule:

35 hours per week

Stipend:

This internship includes a stipend of $9,650 for the full program, disbursed in bi‑weekly installments on or before the 7th and 22nd of each month

Responsibilities:

• Assist with lab experiments, sample preparation, and data collection.
• Review scientific literature and summarize key findings.

• Degree in a field related to biology and/or chemistry.

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team setting.
• Interested in pursuing graduate studies or a career in research or science policy.
• Commitment to the full duration of the internship.
• Familiarity with software such as Excel, R, Python, or statistical tools (preferred).
• Basic understanding of laboratory techniques and data analysis tools (preferred).
