Job summary

Capital Resin Corporation seeks a Technical Director to lead the chemistry R&D and QC/QA teams, acting as the company’s subject‑matter expert on chemistry, formulation, and manufacturing processes. The role combines hands‑on technical leadership with business partnership across sales and manufacturing to drive new products, markets, and stronger margins.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Chemistry or related field; Master's or PhD preferred.
• 10+ years in chemical industry with hands-on formulation/polymer work.
• 5+ years in management or proven leadership responsibilities.
• Experience partnering with sales; able to translate technical details into business value.
• Experience with manufacturing equipment and scale-up from lab to plant.
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead Chemistry R&D and QC/QA teams; set strategy and goals.
• Partner with sales and manufacturing to improve processes and margins.
• Oversee R&D plans, budgets, and project timelines.
• Ensure ISO/EH&S compliance and regulatory awareness.
• Represent CRC at conferences and customer visits.
• Hire and develop R&D chemists and QC/QA staff.
• Drive cross-functional collaboration and continuous improvement.
