Qualifications

• Master's degree in chemistry required.
• Willingness to travel to multiple campus locations.

• Knowledge of LMS (Blackboard Ultra) or related programs.
• Ability to use common laboratory equipment such as balances, pipettes, and spectroscopy.

• Demonstrated lab safety knowledge for a Chemistry Lab.
• Ability to teach in multiple modalities (face-to-face, hybrid, online, seven-week formats) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Teach lecture and lab portions of basic, general, and organic chemistry courses for STEM, liberal arts, and health sciences areas.
• Maintain currency in subject content, technological advancements, and pedagogy.
• Adhere to general lab safety and proper handling of chemicals and biohazard waste.
• Use technology to enhance instruction and communicate with students and campus community.
• Create assessments that evaluate student learning outcomes.
• Engage in curriculum development and participate in department activities.
