Job Summary

The person in this position is a licensed Medical Technologist (MT) responsible for specimen processing, analysis, and results reporting. The role involves performing standard duties of a Medical Technologist.

Essential Functions

• Receive and process specimens according to department protocols.
• Design and update procedures to maximize testing efficiency and accuracy.
• Assist with administrative tasks such as ordering supplies and maintaining inventory.
• Follow laboratory safety precautions and procedures.
• Produce, interpret, and report accurate test results.
• Identify and address issues affecting test performance or reporting.
